To optimize your Spanish course work as part of Gen Ed, here is an example:
Option 1:
- Content Area 1:
A (Arts): Span 3250 or C (History) History Course from list: D (Philosophy/Ethical Analysis) PHIL 104
A,B,C,D,E: Take one additional course, but NOT a Spanish course because you need courses from four different academic units.
5 Courses
- (Content Areas 2 and 3 have no Spanish courses, the requirements are the same as for the College of Engineering)
- Content Area 4:
Use Spanish 3250 for the “double dip”
Take an additional CA 4 to complete this requirement
We strongly advise that students consult with CLAS Academic Services Center in years 1, 2, 3 and 5 to ensure that they are in compliance with their GEN ED requirements for the B.A. part of their dual degrees. You can do so by going to the walk-in clinic on the first floor of the Rowe Centre for Undergraduate Education. It is right across from the Homer Babbidge Library.
