You need to be enrolled in the Engineering Spanish Program, and therefore you need to have a declared major in both Spanish and Engineering. Prior Language Study Requirement: 5 semesters of Spanish [the equivalent of SPAN 1001-1004 plus SPAN 3171]. If you have an average of 2.70 in Spanish classes or less you will need special permission from the Spanish Study Abroad Committee to be considered for the Valencia Program.
